The Columbia River Gorge Scenic Area is famous for its waterfalls, 77 on the Oregon side alone. They can be classified into eight forms: plunge, horsetail, fan, cascade, punchbowl, block, tier, and segmented.
Wahkeena Falls is one beautiful waterfall along the Columbia River Gorge. It tumbles 242 foot down a mountain side and has a subtle cascading flow.
