Horsetail Falls
The Columbia River Gorge Scenic Area is famous for its waterfalls, 77 on the Oregon side alone. They can be classified into eight forms: plunge, horsetail, fan, cascade, punchbowl, block, tier, and segmented.
Horsetail Falls is one beautiful waterfall along the Columbia River Gorge which resembles a horse’s tail. It is commonly said to stand 176 feet tall.
